I did my PhD in biology at the Institut Pasteur, in Paris, France, where I studied cardiac muscle and blood vessel development. After a short post-doc and following a MOOC to learn the basics of innovation and entrepreneurship, I started a position as a consultant in innovation strategy, where I help businesses to promote their innovations through an approach at the interface between business and science.

I am fascinated by the current advances in biotechnology, among which synthetic biology, gene and cell therapy and cell-based meat and by the people that wish to use these technologies to make the world a fairer and more sustainable place.
